Autumnal green tea
12 October 2020Previously in Japan some green teas were stored after Spring production in ceramic jars on high mountain monasteries during the hot and humid summers. Then as it cooled and the seasons changed the tea jars would be opened and tea was drunk in celebration on Autumn festival days.
To mark the change-over of Helen Mirra’s woven piece in her show ‘la malplena ĉambro estas bela’, and the change of season, we share a cup of green tea.
